Yes. As a registered nonprofit organization, all monetary and in-kind donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive a donation receipt for your records.

We operate six signature programs designed to nurture the mind, body, and spirit across generations:
Rites of Passage Circle – Age-based, culturally grounded mentoring rooted in African traditions of guidance and growth.
Letter from Grandma – A monthly newsletter that shares the stories and wisdom of influential African and African American figures.
Wisdom & Wellness Wednesdays – Bi-weekly classes that focus on healing, culture, and community education.
Sankofa City Tours – Guided tours that uncover Richmond’s African heritage and the hidden histories that shaped our city.
Freedom Seedlings: Youth Innovation Lab – Hands-on youth workshops blending culture, STEM, and storytelling to spark creativity and leadership.
Nguzo Builders: Young Adult Collective – A wellness and leadership initiative offering skill-building, empowerment, and collaboration for ages 18–30.
